The following online evaluation guide (tutorial) details how to generate a full Flex/Spring RIA application using M2Flex in combination with Adobe Flex Builder III. It describes, through a tutorial with a demo application, a model’s ‘step by step’ creation and its transformation into an executable application.
M2Flex uses model driven development capabilities to automate application development and architecture review, and instantly produce the application source code.
The sample application that will be built is a JavaEE application that manage customers and employees. A set of frameworks are implemented in this application such as Cairngorm, BlazeDS, Spring, Hibernate...
The demo application inputs (UML XMI model, UML EMF model, MXML UI mockup, and Database initialization data script) are available for download.
